Out on the town

Here Rachel is walking through the town square of Cesky Tesin, Richards home town. Its beautiful, just like you would imagine a town square is Europe to be. Its nice at night when the lights come on. She also went to see the horses again and sat in her grandpa's tractor's big wheel.

More Czech Pictures!

Rachel and I talk every afternoon ( night for her) with a webcam, she showed me her new blue teddy and told me about her day. Richards mom has a rock garden under her steps, its really beautiful, and inspiring! Rachel has been visiting Richards grandparents, needless to say, lots of spoiling going on! She has also enjoyed Cousins and Richard's Friend's children as well. What an adventure for a 4 year old! WOW

Redneck Revelations

You might be a redneck if.....you tie your dog to your pick up with a chain....
Furthermore....you might be a redneck if, while walking by, you think " hey, thats not a bad idea!"

Thoughts

It was actually 50 here today! I couldn't beleive it, what a relief and refresh to not have to bundle up to go outside! We got very wet, but thats part of the fun! I took Hannah for a stroller ride after she got tired of playing, the moon was beautiful, just barely hidden by clouds. Hannah loves the moon. She always looks for it at night. I am in the process of reorganizing my pictures in to big collage frames. I've also framed some things that are more artsy to hang in the bathroom and living room. I am hoping to make some floral swags with silk or dried flowers. Sunflowers, Daisies, Violets, that sort of thing. Something to brighten up the place. They are having a basket sale at Shopko and I want to go check that out, I need a few more chic looking toy holders. This time without Richard and Rachel has been tough, but I am taking it day by day. Its been a great chance to get to know my Hannah even better. She is such a great girl, so loving and funny. And i've actually taken NAPS! I know.....I am spoiled! HAHAHA. Richard and I have been making all sorts of plan of what we'll do when we are together again....watch LOST....and stuff. Its like dating again. I've been reading the letters he sent me after we met and while he was in the Air Force and when we were apart during out engagement. What a man he is. I got the good one girls :)

Bedtime

Hannah is enjoying just her and mommy time while big sister and Dada are away. Shes been perfecting her play dough technique, and going pee pee in the potty. She enjoyed lunch at the Crimson Cup, eating a greek sandwhich, complete with olives! She has also been keeping an eye on the birds outside, and playing in the puddles. Once a day she walks around looking for her Dada, but she usually gets distracted. She knows he is off getting the best chocolate in the world.....Her latest love is headbands and wearing hair ties as accessories.

Trip to the Czech Republic

Samuel and Rachel taking a drive.
Rachel and her Cousin Samuel take a ride on Dziadek ( grandpa in Czech).

The first night Rachel slept in a princess bed, her Aunt Kasia's old bed. ( Notice the " fluffy blankie" made the trip, but didn't make it to the bed)
